All staffs are kind! food also tastes nice and I highly recomend dessert creme brulee!

I absolutely love this place. I truly think it's a hidden gem in carytown! Their food is fantastic and the ambience is super casual. I really love sitting on their balcony in the summer months and people watching from above too. I also love that they always have bold rock on tap! Highly recommend this place!

First off, There are stairs to walk up when you arrive so if you cannot walk up stairs or you are in a wheelchair this wouldn't be the restaurant to go to. I really enjoyed myself here. The decor is nice and the ambiance is great for first dates My boyfriend and I had a date here. They have these glasses filled with cut out strips of paper with conversation starter questions in it. If you're on a date ask for the date night questionnaire glass. It's really interesting to get to know your date and have a little fun. For dinner I had the blackened shrimp pasta which was delicious. The staff was friendly and our waitress was excellent at checking to see if we needed anything. During the warmer months it can get a little crowded here so be prepared for a little bit of a wait. I will definitely recommend waiting it's really nice.

Extras was fantastic! The food, especially the fish tacos, were definitely on point! The owner and staff were outstanding. Every time I visit Richmond I will make a point to visit Extras!

Awesome place!!! Service and food is always great!!! Met Xtra for the first time and she is just wonderful!!! This is one of RVA's hidden spots. Let's get the word out on how fabulous this place is. Would be awesome if on a night there was live music.

Got the fruit, eggs, and pancake. Good value and good taste

my chicken was raw. they took it back. gave ne a free cookie sandwich. Just kinda creeped me out

This is my new favorite place in Richmond. The food is great and creative and diverse, but what really sets it apart are its creative drink menu and the service. The prices are reasonable here yet the service is always that of a pricier five-star restaurant. Great vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options. Amazing mocktails. The atmosphere is great, too. Great for get-togethers. A small outside balcony for when the weather cooperates. If you need good food and good service, this place never disappoints.

Great eggs Benedict and mimosas.

If I rated based solely on the food it would easily get 5 stars. The wait time for our food was tremendously long. I usually never wait as long but I had read so many good reviews that I had to give it a chance and the food was astounding.

Expensive, food is so - so (I would expect much better fare for the money. ( like brunch last weekend, a "Belgian" waffle that was thin and cold and grits were twelve dollars) and it's a full flight of stairs up to get to the resteraunt so if you're handicaped/elderly with walking issues etc its not accessible. The one redeeming factor is that the wait staff are friendly and attentive

The staff are great, the owner is awesome, the food is AMAZING and of gourmet quality. Everyone I’ve brought here so far agrees that they love the food, the atmosphere, and the prices! I love supporting small businesses, especially ones that I would describe as a “hidden gem”.

The food is always amazing and the service is always friendly. They offer a selection of mocktails, which as someone who doesn't drink alcohol is a wonderful bonus. Overall a great place for a relaxing bite to eat.

Atmosphere is nice. Food is delicious. Large portions. They also have $15 wine bottles on Wednesdays.

I've been here a few times and I've never had a bad experience. Food was excellent this time - salmon perfectly cooked, drinks exactly right, great selection on the draft beer menu, and service with just the right amount of attentiveness.

I haven’t been in a while but they have a good menu. I think brunch is my favorite. It has a fun Art Deco-like feel.

Definitely a Carytown style location. Doesn't stay open to late, so is definitely more of a Cafe/restaurant place than a night venue!Super chill atmosphere and good staff! Could easily drop $30-50 a visit!

Food was good, location was right next to a free garage, and our waitress was friendly. However, our checks took 45 minutes to come back to the table. It was a larger party (10-15 people), but the restaurant was not busy, and other tables' checks were being picked up and returned in that time.

Modern casual French style with the BEST food. We had the bruschetta as an appetizer, shrimp basil pesto with linguine and asiago cheese, roasted salmon with a lemon caper cream resting on spinach goat cheese risotto. These meals were out of this world with flavor! Perfectly cooked and presented with excellent drinks.The prices were very affordable.Definitely make this your next choice for dining again and again!!!

The food is amazing. Sometimes the service is a little slow but worth the wait. We keep going back.Family restaurant that has really great food and a super friendly staff. I got the spanikopita lasagna and it was to die for. My friends got the crab cake sandwich and shrimp tacos and they also loved their meals. Will definitely be coming back to get more of that lasagna!

Xtra's is on the quieter end of Carytown, which is a plus if you want to eat outside. Very good atmosphere for brunch! The food was great, particularly the bruschetta and French dip sandwich!

Great BBQ sandwich and excellent chicken bacon sandwich. Even better, the covered balcony!

A nice little place. It was clean and the service was great. Most of the food was exceptional and the rest was good. It's on the second floor so no handicap access that I saw. Overall it was a good experience.

Nice little bar/cafe, outdoor seating on a balcony was very nice and the staff was very friendly. The limited menu options are somewhat overpriced but coming for the specials or getting items from the kids menu can be a great value. Worth checking out if you're in the area. Much praise for their cocktail selection and wide variety of mocktails available.
